Play SS for elite missions, people don't like MMs for elite missions because it's hard to even keep yourself alive, not to mention your minions.

MM > Urgoz Warren. There not only needed in B/P groups, either. Use only flesh golem and horrors,
the rest standard MM skills.

Oh god, please no. Death Nova for pets in B/P, and Putrid Explosion (also for pets) and you should be doing just fine.

Oh god, yes. I'm always with a group with a MM, and we always do just fine. So, whats wrong with them?

Try MMing in an ELITE mission where killing is not easy. You aren't going to get enough corpse and most of your minions are going to die from fighting because damage is too high. You can't control your minions, thus, if they aggro you either lose them or fight monsters you would rather avoid.
If you think all MMs do well, try MMing in UW or FoW, or even Tombs and you will see why.

Please refrain from posting if you have no clue what your talking about. Have you ever been to Urgoz Warren? Because if you have, you'll know you'll have plenty of corpses. While pulling, your MM is obviously gonna be in the backlines, so his minions wont be aggroing anything. Go to Urgoz, then come back here and make a reply that makes sence.

I dont have any problems with MMing in Urgoz, FoW or Tombs, which suggests as Arkantos says, that certain people here really dont have a clue what they're on about.

But then I've been MMing for over a year with various builds, and not like some of these 5 minute MM "know it alls" which the game is currently full of.

Yes try MMing when your minions get killed every time because you don't have the health to spam Blood of the Master on them. It's a lot easier to just use Putried Explosions and such or SS so the monks don't have to try to heal you because you are too busy sacrificing health to heal your minions.

For those of you saying MM's are horrible for all elite missions, your incorrect. They arent good on the deep, thats for sure. However on urgoz they are excellent. If you go with a barrage pet group, your minnions are quite often the meat shields. Your right, they dont have quite enough health but they almost have just as much as each human player. The flesh golem has more considering the higher level.

The build I use is simple

Blood of The Master
Animate Flesh Golem
Animate Bone Fiend
Animate Vampiric horror
Veratas Sacrifice
Dark Bond
Karei's Healing Circle
Rebirth

16 Death Magic
10 Sould Reaping
The rest in blood magic to lengthen Dark Bond

Yes, the B/P farming group. In a B/P group, MM works well because some ranger spirits affect the long range shot of Fiends, which is the direct damage dealers. Some might say Horrors would be better due to tankage, but Fiends should be between the Rangers and the enemies. The pets and Golem is also there for a reason.
